Systematic and Historical Theology

Dr Eglinton joined the Theologische Universiteit Kampen as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in September  2010.  His current research, conducted under the oversight of Professor George Harinck, concerns the historic relationship between Scottish and Dutch Calvinism.  Prior to this, his studies took place in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Paris and Edinburgh.  His doctorate, supervised by Professor David Fergusson at the University of Edinburgh, was entitled Trinity and Organism: Towards a New Reading of Herman Bavinck's Organic Motif.  In 2009, he was the visiting Puchinger Scholar at Princeton Theological Seminary's Kuyper Center.  He is also the Review Editor for the European Journal of Theology.
